Dr. Mohamed Osman Shereif Mahdi Abaker holds a Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen and an MBA from the University of Wales in the U.K. He serves as Chair of the Department of Management at the American University of 

Ras Al Khaimah. He also serves as a Certified Reviewer for the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) in the UAE. 

 

Dr. Mahdi reviewed the Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management at Jubail University College and the Master of Management and Organization at Dhofar University. He served as an external examiner, a reviewer, and an editorial board member for several regional and international journals. He authored and co-authored articles in international and
regional refereed journals and presented papers at various international and regional conferences. He received several Internal Research Grants. His areas of research and teaching interest are in Organizational Change Management, strategies, technology, and innovation; Organizational Behaviour including culture, and Human Resources Management.
